While Michelle and I go into the battle of the blogs on Blog Explosion every now and then, there’s a new battle a in our own backyard… Ok our own office room.
With our new found hobby we find ourselves taking numbers to use the computer, let’s see let me take roll call; Jr., Bridezilla, Lolo, Nikki, ‘mi chica” and I, that makes six computer users and only one very busy computer.
Nikki, Bridezilla and I (Joe Cool) have been blogging, Bridezilla and Nikki are also avid “My Space” users or should I say addicts, Jr. and Lolo like to surf the world wide web, they download shit and a half and who knows which sites they visit (Uhmm I wonder were those pesky viruses that freeze the computer come from?), and "mi chica" loves to play Slingo and and any game that has to do with Las Vegas, Casinos and gambling.
All of us are addicted in one way or another and it’s a fact that a second and maybe even a third computer is needed indeed. While money is tight we have to do something before tempers flare and none of us get to use the computer, time allotments are getting shorter and shorter and that means that my stories may get smaller… Not!
So we just have to make do with what we have and we shall all get our computer time as scheduled. Me, being the creative man that I am, came up with my own home made laptop fits perfect on top of my legs but the question remains… will it write? – Well probably not but my daughter as usual called me a “dork” for coming out with ideas like this. I was just hoping they would like it so I could give the "laptop" to them while I got to keep the desktop all to myself.

As usual, you crack me up. I had to do a “double-take” to see what exactly you were using! Pretty ingenious! Too bad you couldn’t fool your family.
I feel for your “computer situation”. We found out the hard way, that having more than one home computer is “a-sign-of-the-times”. Call it bragging if you want to, but in my household there are, 4 computers and 2 laptops and at times, we still kick each other out of one of them. Go figure!

You brat, Loyiel doesnt download hardly anything onto the computer! Unless it's the programs I need him to install, thats all he does! He just plays skateboard games lol. Jr on the other hand, he does download lots of movies and such. Its your CHICA with her downloading of game after game who's been putting stuff on my computer! So psh to you daddio! But anyway, you ARE a dork because only you would create a "laptop" of your own. Lol love you though!

Hey, you know what...you do what you have to.
We have 2 computers...one big one and a laptop. Still, with 5 kids, there's never a free moment.
How did you "make" your own?
Well Bex I tried to fool them with the picture that my grandson gave me for Dather's Day and the little calculator that usually lays around the house, but they didn't go for it. Darn, they're too smart.
