Father's Day Hawaiian Luau
The girls in my life specially "mi chica" have planned a Father's Day Hawaiian Luau for us dads. They decided to invite every family member we have here in Phoenix and if you know anything about Mexican families then you know that we are big. Did you ever watch the movie "Fools Rush In"? There is the one scene where she takes him to meet the family, it's Saturday night family dinner and the house is like totally full, well that's us. We have more celebrations than there are days in the year. So the setting will be our back yard, we are having 100+ degree-days these days so the swimming pool looks so inviting. There will be plenty of food, drinks, chips and salsa and who knows what else. They bought bamboo tiki lamps, and these cool looking plastic plates that are shaped as Hawaiian shirts, shell necklaces and the Hawaiian watchamacallits that go around your neck. Yeap the attire will have to be Hawaiian shirts and shorts with sandals, just to be comfortable. We should all have a grand ole time because the girls are putting a lot of effort into it. I'll let you know how things went next week.
To my "chica" - - E Hoomau Maua Kealoha ~ May our love last forever
