El Weekend

Well it's finally Friday, I am excited because we are going to Manny's tonight for some Mexican food and a little karaoke. Mi chica and I went last week and had a great time, tonight a couple of her friends may join us. It should be fun.

Add to that a change in weather and it should be a great night. The temperature is no longer over a 100 degrees, actually the nights are nippy at 80 degrees. I am just not used to cold weather so even when it drops just a little under the three digits I start thinking jackets and sweat shirts. Yeah, I am a wimp when it comes to cold weather.

So, what should I sing tonight, I am open for suggestions.

Tomorrow a friend from work is getting married and we are invited. That should be a good time too. Then my daughter's birthday is on the 24th so she is having a get together at the house and the theme is Halloween. Depending on how much fun we are having at the wedding reception we may just come home early to join the family... But we'll see.

By the way, my car broke down again. Same thing as last week, we know it's electrical so it could be the ignition switch, the starter, or a short caused by the alarm. I just hope it fix is not too expensive.

Anyway that is the plan for the weekend. Sunday remains open for whatever. What are your plans for the weekend? Whatever you do, have a great and safe one.

Correction: Michelle's birthday is the 22nd, and mi chica's and my anniversary is on the 24th. (I knew that, I was just testing you to see if you were paying attention). lol

Oh Daddy... my birthday is the 22ND!... Your anniversary is the 24TH! And you forgot about Arielle's baptism tomorrow morning as well... I think your weekend is even busier than you thought.

But you go have fun at that wedding... I will be mad at you for missing my Halloween party! :(

Jose... Your daughter's birthday is the 22th...... that's funny.

Do you sing "Johnny Cash" ~~ how about Ring of Fire.

Today I baked chocolate chip cookies and Oatmeal cranberry nut cookies for the treat table at church tomorrow. Also, went down and decorated the foyer of the church for fall.

Tomorrow will be church, and I'm filling in for six weeks teaching the 4 and 5 year olds... How fun in that!!

Last night we went to the saddest high school football game I've every attended. Our Granddaughter was preforming with her drill team at half time. What made it the saddest.... the final score was 64 to 0 ~~~ guess whose team was 0!!

Have a great weekend Jose ~~~

michelle - I knew that, but then again you also knew I always get my dates mixed up. lol

amy - I only worked on weekends when I had my very first job. I can't recall working weekends ever since. I love to have my weekends for the family.

wanda - I do a lot of country music but no Johnny Cash.

I just read in the local newpaper of a school that lost 91 to 0, the writer even mentioned that he wasn't even aware that 91 was a multiple of 7.

betty - There's a pumpkin patch and a fright house on 99th ave just north of McDowell.

Let see, Friday I sang a song in Spanish "Voy a apagar la luz" and and old Mickey Gilley song "You don't know me". It was pretty packed on Friday as the karaoke guy had his family there for a couple of birthdays. It was fun though.
