My sister has been inviting me to be a part of her church choir. She has been the choir director for the Spanish for the past ten years or so if not more. Now I presume that I can sing (yes I lie to myself) but I can't retain the lyrics, I must read them. I think karaoke is one thing but singing for the choir requires commitment and discipline and probably some time for practice. I'm really thinking about it but can not for the life of me make my mind, I am thinking about going with her but strictly as an spectator. Just to see what it's all about... I'm still thinking.I posted a little blurb about this on FaceBook and the response by all was a unanimous "Do it Jose, just do it!". So, I think I am going to give it a try and see what happens. You never know, I may like it.
I did attend last week's practice and let me tell ya... OK, I won't. Let's just say that it shows they've been doing this for a long time and they know what they are doing. I'm glad someone does because at this point I'm clueless.

Joe, I think God has been preparing you for this through your Karaoke and he knows it's time. Good for you I know you will be awesome. Maybe I will stop by to hear mass and listen to you too
Elena has been asking me for a long time to join, I told her no way too many times but she just doesn't give up. Mi chica and I were planning on going back to church and not be lazy, maybe this will give us that little push we need.
